Our main interventions on the area of workshop services include lashing, unlashing, welding and securing of cargo such as: Blades, Nacelles, Hydraulic clams, Hubs, Generators, towers, parts and pieces of eolic windmills among others.

“Heavy Lift Project Cargo” Inspection

We are specialist on Heavy Lift Cargo inspections for the Oil and Gas Industry, the Petrochemical and Renewable Energy industry, with professional instruction in planning and coordinating to the very last detail of the loading and discharge of cargo in the vessel and in the terminal, as well as the reception and dispatch of non-standardized cargo at consignees and manufacturers warehouse or factory. We take into account risk evaluation, stabilizing controls, lashing and stowage plans, verification, and installation of lashing elements for heavy and oversize cargo, SWL calculations prior to operations, supervision of hoisting and manipulation of cargo under stevedores account facilitating technical assessment for all parties involved in the logistic chain and in-land transport. Previously mentioned information has the intention of avoiding accident rates, minimizing operational risk and economical lose for our clients.

Port Captain Service

Our Port Captain service consists of a team of professionals widely experienced in inspection matters, with higher education in marine aspects and enough training for loading and unloading control. The service’s main functions are to protect our customers’ interests and to spare time and extra expenses. This vast knowledge allows the team to prevent and warn customers about situations and events during port and onboard operations.

Constant supervision of the stowage/rope, separation and berthing/casting-off of the cargo is a guarantee of fast and safe loading, considering daily reports per shift and photographic records with their respective expert conclusions and sound advice which will provide relevant information during the service for the decision-making processes.

MOS (Method Statement-Risk Assessment for Operations)

This MS/RA procedure is a guideline for the movement during hoisting, berthing, and transportation operations of all kinds of cargo or equipment. In each of them, an experienced surveyor will be provided, who will have the proper authority to stop maneuvers if the processes are not carried out according to the standards or technical safety parameters implemented in the MOS.

The MS/RA procedure combines the method declaration and the risk evaluation in a single document designed to assure that the carrier complies with all his obligations at the operation place, and it is based on the general principles of risk prevention and of:

  • Works planning.
  • Risk identification.
  • Procedures (using work methods and equipment adapted to the task and to the risk).
  • Consider technical evolutions of the work.
  • Inform and train employees on risks and control measures.
  • Execute findings record and control measures.
  • Good practice of safety on behalf of the carrier through the use of the MS/RA document for preparing all tasks.

On/Off Hire Bunker + Vessel Condition Survey

During the vessel on-hire and off-hire process, the service include a complete and accurate description of the structural conditions of the cargo spaces, cargo holds, deckhouse-cabin, machinery room, cranes, etc., as well as a total calculation of the fuels onboard (Bunker Inspection).

IICL Inspection

Technical inspection to determine de suitability of the unit, mainly, container under SOC (Shipper Owned Container), and others that require validation or renewal of the CSC plate in order to certify that the container is in good structural condition for sea voyage. Inspection under IICL standards as requested by shipping line prior loading of the unit.
